MOVIE REVIEW : World's Greatest Dad


WORLD'S GREATEST DAD

Starring Robin Williams and Alexie Gilmore

PLOT

A comedy about a man who learns that the things you want most may not be the things that make you happy, and that being lonely is not necessarily the same as being alone.

REVIEW

+ The twist in the middle is absolutely fantastic and caught me completely off guard. +

+ Often hilariously funny. +

+ Often incredibly sad. +

+ Often very shocking. +

+ Robin Williams did some terrific, subtle acting. +

+ Really surprises you all the way - never goes where you think it will. +

+ Super black comedy, done perfectly. +

+ Was never afraid to break the lines and go where you never the film would go. +

+ A great sequence at the end set to Queen and Bowie's "Under Pressure". +

- Ended quite quickly - and I just wanted more. -

BEST MOMENT

The horrible twist in the middle, taking the film in a completely new direction.
