+ Stana Katic is a great companion to him. +
+ The murders are always interesting and unique. +
+ All the scenes with Castle and his daughter are the best. +
+ The relationship between the two leads is perfectly balanced between love and hate. +
+ Tonnes of classic Nathan Fillion moments. +
+ Very well written, especially the book excerpt scenes. +
- Some repetitive storylines. -
- The supporting cast aren't very good, room for improvement. -

I'd say the Pilot. A brilliant experience and great storyline ready to set up the rest of the series.
